We are now on the brink of a true wireless society, new innovations WILL abolished wires over the next couple of years.
Bluetooth, WiFi, 2, 3 and 4G Wireless broadband, all help in some form or another to rid our floors of trailing wires, transferring data has become quite blasé. Electricity however seems to be for many to be the impossible next logical step.
Actually it’s been in the offing for a while now, secretly a team from MIT have been working on the future of powering everyday devices wirelessly.
Called Witricity, it’s sure to be a big hit, it’s boasting room sized range and environmentally friendly.
The big question I have is will it have some control inplace to stop others from stealing power remotely?
It could prove quite costly if anyone in range could suck power from your supply.
